My house is full of notes and wipe-off boards with reminders and lists. Yet, somehow, I still manage to forget to do stuff. For the most part though, this is the only way for me to keep up with everything that is going on in our busy household.

There are three things I love about when Sean cooks dinner: 1. He is a great cook. He is always up for trying new recipes and different types of food. 2. It is one less thing for me to do! I get to sit and chat with him while he cooks up a storm. 3. He is a good role model for his boys. I like that they don’t just see mommy doing the cooking and the cleaning. Sean being in the kitchen prepping a meal is not a surprising sight for The Boys and I think that is a wonderful thing. (BTW- he made swordfish with a mango & veggie salsa. It was delicious.)

We had a “Reveal Party” for my friend who is expecting her third baby. I was given an envelope that had the gender of the baby written on it (courtesy of the ultrasound tech), and we planned a party that revolved around revealing to her what she was having. I came up with a letter that held some clues as to where something was hidden that would reveal her baby’s gender. In the end she had to dig through a big jar full of gum balls to find this teeny, tiny, baby girl. It was fun watching her run around looking through everything and anything in hopes of finding her clue. And, just for the record, I predicted “girl” before I was given the envelope that confirmed it.

Today, we scored a quadruple nap. While Ben, Robert, and Grandpa took a nap, I managed to get in a 45 minute snooze, too!
